My biggest learning here has been to understand WHY men are the leaders in marriage. More importantly, I now really appreciate the simplicity and beauty of a woman's role in a marriage. There's so much more I've learnt. It's been a journey of reminders, lessons, knowledge, and thoughtfulness. And lastl to put it simply, I love love listening to you it was my fav part about this course hehe ...i can only hope to be a teacher as good as you one day♥ jazakillah khair
The duties of a wife and their is no gender discrimination in islam as how ppl actually potray.. Wife has d ryt to indulge wd the husband in decision mking and the final conclusion is gvn by d husband ..husbnd is d leader dat dsnt mean dat he can do anything like abusing etc as mny men think. Abusing is prohibited .. The concept of hitting us also been beautifully described exmpl to hit wd a miswak .. There is no physcl, damage or pain here just a touch .. This surah is been taken in a wrong manner and ppl usually think islam allows to hit women .. Also husbnd need to satisfy her wives physical needs lyk wife does.. Wife shld obey her husband, also here it dsnt mean if he says to do smthing haram dan u need to obey ..noo.. Wife shld beautify herself fr her hsbnd ..
Alhamdulillah, these are the gems that I've learnt in this resourceful journey of 10+ days: I've learnt that for the world to work in harmony, Allah SWT has given a man and a woman different responsibilities. And if we fulfil these responsibilities by following the Prophet's (SAW) way, we will be rewarded in this life and the next life. It's so comforting and heartwarming to know Allah(swt) cares about women so much that he(swt) has given us rights and responsibilities in a marriage.
